MISSION

Stephen ran on the promise to “Make the Recorder’s Office Boring Again” by taking politics out of the office and focusing on the competent administration of the office. Unfortunately, that has proven impossible, as election administration is anything but boring these days, and Stephen has not hesitated to denounce the lies and disinformation regarding election laws and election administration. Nonetheless, Stephen’s passion and focus remains the outstanding service of all 4.6 million Maricopa County residents.

PRIORITY 1

Fairly, lawfully, and competently administer the core responsibilities of recording documents, registering voters, and administering elections.

PRIORITY 2

Build confidence by educating voters about the election process and by combatting disinformation.

PRIORITY 3

Reform the voter registration database to ensure an efficient and accurate voter list.
